Our approach Our Goal To develop a coach
education programme which will meet the needs of coach and participants. Safety and Club Rules * Gymnasts must only
enter the Gym Hall when supervised by a qualified coach. * Gymnasts may not use any
apparatus without the express instructions by their coach. * No gymnast may train
without current annual insurance and fees paid (in advance for the term). * Suitable clothing to be
worn. * No jewellery or watches
(except stud earrings). * Long hair to be tied
back (boys and girls). * Gymnasts who are
injured should not attend a gymnastic session without the parent or guardian
consulting the coach. * The club cannot be
responsible for anyone, other than gymnasts who are attending the session. No
other children should be left unattended in the gym hall. * Gymnasts must be
collected promptly from the gym at the end of the session, parents are also
responsible for ensuring that a coach is present in the gym at the start of a
session before leaving their gymnasts there. Club Fees Fees are due quarterly and in
advance (usually at the beginning of January, April, July and October). You
will be sent a letter at the beginning of each quarter which should be
returned promptly with payment and the completed return slip (cheques made payable
to Bangor Gymnastics Club). Please do not give payment to
the coaches. A SAE will be enclosed with the fees letter to be returned to
our membership secretary Mrs. E Jones 24 Bronhaul Llandegfan LL59 5YF Prompt
payment of fees is essential as we are charged in advance for the hire of the
gymnastics hall and all the
administrative tasks in the club are done on a voluntary basis. If you are
late in paying a late payment charge of £5 is liable. Please also remember that the
club runs for the whole of the year (excluding 2 weeks at Christmas and 1
week at Easter) and fees are spread equally over the 4 terms. The club’s overheads also
continue over the whole year and therefore there is no facility to ‘take off’
fees when a gymnast does not attend due to family holidays, etc. Additionally there is an
annual insurance premium payable by all gymnasts. This is collected in
September for existing members or immediately when new members join the club. No gymnast
is permitted to train without appropriate and current insurance being in
place. There is a long waiting list
for all classes and if your gymnast is to be absent from classes for more
than 2 weeks then we would ask you to let the coach know so that his/her
place is safeguarded. Likewise if for any reason he/she no longer wishes to
continue in the club the coach should be informed as soon as possible so that
place can be reallocated. Thank you for your
co-operation and support. |
